Hello, 2025! 🌟

As I sit down to reflect on the past year, I find myself filled with gratitude and anticipation for what’s to come. 2024 has been a year of profound growth, unexpected challenges, and some truly transformative moments. It’s been one of those years that shook me to my core and changed the way I view both my personal life and my business. But as I sit here with a fresh perspective and a renewed sense of passion, I can confidently say that I am more ready than ever to dive into the new year.

Reflecting on 2024:

This past year has been a time of deep reflection. A long-term relationship breakdown required me to take a step back, listen to my body and mind, and allow myself to rest and recalibrate. It was a tough but necessary period of introspection to understand what I truly want from life, both personally and professionally.

During this time of rest, I realised how important it is to focus on what lights me up—what truly sets my heart on fire. Part of my healing journey led me to venture back into something that’s always brought me joy: a more social role in hospitality, alongside my photography and studio work. This new chapter has helped me reconnect with a community, and the energy and passion that I want to bring to everything I do, including my photography.

To my amazing clients, you’ve been a constant in all the chaos. Thank you for trusting me to capture some of your most beautiful, intimate moments. Your trust reminded me why I started doing this in the first place: to tell stories through photos. You’ve helped keep my passion alive, and for that, I am forever grateful.

2024 has been a year of growth and rediscovery, and I’m looking forward to bringing that renewed energy into 2025.

The Road Ahead: What’s in Store for 2025

Now, as we enter 2025, I’m taking all the lessons I’ve learned, all the growth I’ve experienced, and channeling it into this business that I love. And let me tell you—I’m feeling re-energised and ready to make this year unforgettable.

What to Expect in 2025:

🌟 Limited bookings for a more personal experience.

This year, I’ll be reducing the number of sessions I’m taking on. This means more focus, more attention to detail, and a more intimate, personalised experience for each client. For those who want to book but can’t get in right away, don’t worry—I’ll be offering waitlists to make sure no one misses out.

🐶 A new addition.

Due to an increasing demand, I will now be accepting regular canine sessions. So, can I pet that dawg?

🎨 A product offering restructure.

I’ve streamlined my most-loved artworks to focus on pieces that my clients love the most. I’m offering a more curated selection to make your decision process easier. But don’t worry—I’ll still be offering custom pieces for those looking for something extra special.

💖 A renewed sense of passion and artistry.

This year, I’m diving deeper into my creative side. Photography is an art form, and I want to push myself to create images that are not just beautiful, but also meaningful. I’m excited to experiment more and get back to the artistry that makes photography such a powerful way to capture life.

👀 Exciting new projects on the horizon.

I’ll be working on a few new projects this year, and I’ll be looking for models to help bring these ideas to life. Keep an eye out for upcoming casting calls—you could be the next face I capture for an exciting new shoot!

2024’s Highlights:

This year, I’ve had the pleasure of working with so many amazing people and horses. I can’t even begin to describe how much it means to me that you all have trusted me with your memories. From heartfelt moments with beloved horses to portraits that capture the true essence of a bond, these photos will stay with me forever.

A few standout moments from 2024:

Reflecting on the year, I can’t help but think about some of the most memorable moments I’ve had in the studio and on location with all of you. These moments have inspired me, pushed me to grow, and reaffirmed my love for this work.

1. One shoot that stands out was with Hayley—we did a bridleless barrels shoot that reignited my passion for the Western world. There’s something about capturing the grit and grace of that lifestyle that feels so raw and authentic. It was a chance for me to really embrace that part of equine culture, and it lit a fire under me for more of that storytelling in my work.

2. Then there were the wedding shoots with Kelsey and Naomi—each in their own way, deeply special. My first and second horse-included wedding sessions will forever be a highlight. The joy of photographing couples with their equine companions, capturing their love not just for each other but for the animals who are such a huge part of their lives, made me feel so grateful to be a part of those moments.

3. And who could forget my first formal shoot with Dakota? It was the perfect blend of excitement and class, and it’s one of those moments where I can’t help but smile. Dakota was such a star, and seeing her head off to enjoy her night after the shoot felt like a beautiful send-off. It’s moments like that where I remember how lucky I am to be part of these life experiences with people who share the same love for their horses as I do.

2024 has given me so much to be grateful for, and these moments have not only shaped the photographer I am but also reignited my passion for capturing your stories.

What’s Next?

2025 is about growth. It’s about getting back to what sets me on fire—capturing the moments, connections, and stories that make life so meaningful. It’s about embracing all the lessons of the past year and using them to fuel my creativity, drive, and dedication to delivering an unforgettable experience to each client.

I’m so excited to announce that my books will open in February for 2025! I’ll be taking on a limited number of sessions to ensure each client gets the attention and experience they deserve.
